Allen helps family friend through art

Denny Allen’s talents as a sculpture maker were put to use to help a family friend cope with the loss of a loved one.

“I’ve made all kinds of different things over the years. This one, I made out of some silverware I welded together. I welded the cross and the fish as a symbol of Jesus. It was fun to do. I did it for a family friend in Marcus who lost a loved one to cancer, who was about the same age as my daughter,” said Allen at an Aurelia Kiwanis Club gathering.
