Alta-Aurelia’s baseball team earned four more victoires between June 1 and June 7 to send the team’s record to 7-1 overall and to 5-0 in the Twin Lakes Conference.

Coach Ryan Burkhart said his players are “having a lot of fun” right now.

“They show up to the ballpark each day excited to play baseball with their friends,” noted Burkhart. “It’s a really fun group to coach. The bus rides, the time in the dugout, the meetings in between innings are all positive and fun. They just love playing baseball and being together and it shows.

“They support each other and each guy has accepted his role and is trying to be a superstar in that role. They are really good guys to be around each day."
