Cherokee area libraries give yearly report

The Cherokee County Public Library Association made its annual budget presentation to the Cherokee County supervisors Nov. 27.

The library group includes Aurelia, Marcus, Quimby, Cherokee, Meriden-Cleghorn and Washta libraries. Diane Niehaus, director of Aurelia Public Library, made the presentation for the fiscal year 2019-20.

“We appreciate the support of the Cherokee County Supervisors. The monetary support we receive is essential to the libraries of Cherokee County. The libraries vary in size, but they all offer essential services to the residents of Cherokee County,” said Niehaus.
