Cherokee County electrocution lawsuit settled

A lawsuit over an Alta man who was electrocuted in September 2017 at Silver Sioux Campground near Quimby has settled for an undisclosed amount, according to the attorney who sued the county over the incident.
 
Terms of the settlement weren’t made immediately available because the Cherokee County Auditor’s Office wasn’t yet aware of the settlement. Auditor Kris Glienke said she would contact Cherokee County Attorney Ryan Kolpin about the case before issuing comment.
