Cherokee County Veterans Affairs hosts ribbon cutting

Cherokee County Veterans Affairs (VA) held a ribbon cutting and open house event to coincide with its new offices next to a revamped county board of supervisors’ room at the Cherokee County Courthouse. The event was part of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce’s weekly coffee June 22.

County VA Director Jerry  Weiland of Aurelia said the move, which was official in March, has gone well, with about 15 to 20 veteran visitors a day.
