Cherokee supervisors end maintenance agreement

The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors met with Jeff Swift of SwiftAir July 14 to review the current three-year contract for annual preventative maintenance of the courthouse HVAC system. The current agreement goes through April 2021.
After a lengthy discussion, it was mutually agreed that the current service contract will be voided and SwiftAir will provide a letter stating the terms of ending the contract early.
Chair Gary Lundquist was given authorization to consult with the county attorney and sign a letter drafted by SwiftAir to end a three-year preventative maintenance agreement for commercial heating, air conditioning and temperature controls in the courthouse.
