County parks host new program

The Cherokee County Conservation Board is hiding ceramic tiles in its parks and the public is seeking them. The adventure is free and anyone can participate.
Visit the Cherokee County Conservation Board website ( to download an activity and informational packet. You can also stop at the office at 629 River Rd. in Cherokee, during or after office hours, to pick up an already-printed packet from the drop box.
Visit the sites in the guidebook in any order and look for a white, three-inch by three-inch tile at each site. There is a clue inside the guidebook to help you find it at each site. The symbol on the tile should match the image on the site’s rubbing page in the activity book.
