Families enjoy blast of event on Halloween

Summit Evangelical Free Church in Alta hosted two hours of family fun on Halloween.

“We do the Family Fall Blast every fall. It takes about 40 volunteers,” said youth pastor Peter Bunnell, dressed as a king.

Games ranged from a bouncy house to miniature golf, crafts, pumpkin bowling and more.

Volunteers and youth were dressed in their Halloween costumes.

“The kids have a blast each year,” said volunteer Jill Engelmann, dressed as a box of eight crayons. She worked the mini-golf she and her husband, Bruce, made with Kathy Larson, who was a Raggedy-Ann.
