A-A girls fall in road games

Although competitive in some spurts, the Alta-Aurelia girls’ basketball’s season saw more road losses at Storm Lake St. Mary’s, Glidden-Ralston and Southeast Valley. A-AHS was 0-13 record.

St. Mary’s

The Warriors led 9-2 after seven minutes in the Twin Lakes Conference (TLC) game Jan. 8. But the Panthers put on a 34-13 run heading into the final quarter to seal the 50-26 win.

For the Warriors, Chloe Kruger led with nine points and had four blocked shots. Sydney Stanton had eight points and Maria Kueny six.
