Paddling the Little Sioux program July 6

The Cherokee, Clay, Buena Vista and O’Brien County Conservation Boards are partnering together to provide a unique opportunity to paddle the Little Sioux River with four naturalists on July 6. At 8:30 a.m., a paddle-the-river refresher program will be offered. Check-in will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m., with the float beginning around 9:30 a.m.

The entire event should take between five to seven hours, depending on weather and water conditions. The float will begin at Barnes Access (Cherokee County) and end at Westcott Park (Cherokee County).
