Project ramps up to help Alta family

An Alta family in need received community support and plans are progressing to build a ramp to assist Boden Larson,12, who has cerebral palsy (CP).

“We found out about the diagnosis at birth,” said Cynthia Larson, Boden’s mom.

The ramp will make it easier for Boden, who is confined to a wheelchair, to access his home and bedroom. The family, brothers, Schade, a senior at A-AHS, and Nash, a sixth grader, live in West View Trailer park in one of the larger trailers.

Alta Kiwanis Club member and Trinity Lutheran Church Pastor Denise Parrello has been leading the ramp effort.
