Rams pull away from A-A girls

The Alta-Aurelia girls’ basketball team battled into the fourth quarter with a chance to gain its first win, at MVAO/COU in Mapleton Jan. 3.

The Warriors trailed just 39-35 at the start of the fourth quarter after a three-pointer by Chloe Kruger. But the Rams went on a 20-11 run the rest of the way for a 59-46 win.

“We played a good game overall. Defensively, we are improving along with understanding offensive movement,” said A-AHS head coach Adam Rapp.
