Second half caps A-A’s homecoming victory

Alta-Aurelia outscored Manson-Northwest Webster 34-0 in the second half to erase a halftime deficit in a 41-11 win for homecoming Sept. 27. The Warriors started Class A, District two play with a victory and was 3-2 overall.

Anthony Krier broke into the Cougars’ secondary on a 65-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and booted the point-after touchdown.

The Cougars tallied 11 points by halftime for an 11-7 lead.

Quarterback Logan McCoy capped a 48-yard drive with a 30-yard touchdown run. The PAT was blocked for a 13-11 lead.
