Secondary road’s boss pleased to be home

Two snow events highlighted the first week on the job for new Cherokee County secondary road engineer Sarah Tracy.

“There was a lot of snow. I think it followed me here from the Twin Cities. I’m impressed with the county’s snow removal efforts and how hard everyone is working. The staff put in extra hours, head out early in the morning and often times miss out on happenings in their personal life to keep the public safe, kudos to them,” said Tracy of the Feb. 20, 23 and 24 storms.

“It’s beneficial being from the county,” said Tracy, daughter of Mike and Jan Tracy.
