Showdown at Valor: A-A, Sioux Central clash

Alta-Aurelia and Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids will duke it out with one team’s playoff spot on the line while the other is seeking a class A, district two title at Aurelia’s Valor Field Oct. 19.

Meanwhile, the third team in the playoff and district title picture, IKM-Manning, will be at Ridge View.

The Warriors are 7-1 overall, 3-1 in the district behind Sioux Central’s 7-1, 4-0 mark. IKM-Manning is 5-3, 3-1.

“If we win, we’re not 100 percent in the playoffs, but we’re in a good position,” said A-AHS co-head coach Grant Peckenschneider.
