Supervisors deal with road conditions

Cherokee County secondary road engineer Brandon Billings gave the Cherokee County supervisors an update on road matters Aug. 14.

Billings told supervisors that three different locations in the county had tried the new Otta Seal process, intended to improve road conditions for a longer period of time. He asked if class A limestone or road gravel should be used for the top coat of roads. Supervisors voted to pursue class A limestone, with the Otta Seal process on secondary roadways.
