Warriors fall by narrowest of margins to Wolves

Alta-Aurelia kept its thinking positive as the Warriors turned the page to focus on the next district two challenge at St. Edmond of Fort Dodge Oct. 12 following an intense and wet night in a 20-19 loss to IKM-Manning in overtime Oct. 5 at Aurelia’s Valor Field.

“I think if we go 7-2 (4-1 district) we will have a good chance to make the playoffs. We just have to keep our heads up and be ready for St. Edmond,” said A-A co-head coach Grant Peckenschneider.

The Warriors finish the regular season by hosting Sioux Central, who is tied with IKM-Manning for first place at 3-0 in the district, Oct. 19.
